Some Port Gamble businesses have online shopping, so you don’t miss out on great stuff!
2020 is sure proving to be a surreal time, especially with the outbreak of the COVID19 virus and not only the health impacts, but the economic impacts that are felt by all. On March 16th, 2020, Governor Jay Inslee made a sweeping proclamation enacting the closing of bars, restaurants, salons, event venues, and much more. This proclamation put Port Gamble Weddings & Events into action, prompting the popular wedding destination to cancel all events for March and April. The decision was a tough one but having public safety in-mind made it much easier to spring into action. With the status of events in the coming months unknown, Port Gamble and the Weddings team are following the public health policies and recommendations very closely and will continue to follow local, state, and federal mandates. The Port Gamble Theater Co. Also had to cancel their 2020 premiere production of Sarah, Plain & Tall.
In the public efforts to follow social distancing guidelines, our businesses have seen a dramatic drop in customers and business due to the outbreak of COVID19. Everyone very much appreciates individual efforts in the name of public safety, however we wanted to make sure that you know some of our businesses have online options for you.
Scratch Kitchen has decided to close for now and we can't wait to have them back open for business . Butcher and Baker Provisions is open Wed.-Sun 11:30am-6pm(ish) with a great menu for take-out. Galloping Gamble Espresso has been open but with shorter hours, closing earlier in the day then usual.
