Port Gamble Historic Museum Closed until May 2018, but Available for Private Events/Tours $100/Hour

The Port Gamble Historic Museum has closed it's doors for the winter and will reopen the first weekend in May 2018 with new hours: Friday-Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm.

Take a step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history of one of Washington State's oldest towns. Make your next company retreat or party one for the history books in the Port Gamble Historic Museum. Built in 1916 as one of the mill site offices, the museum was designed in 1972 and opened in 1976 housing and abundance of historical items from Port Gamble and the sawmill which operated form 1853-1995. This space is ideal for 25-30 people and is perfect for a cocktail reception or private tours and retreats in a colorful historic setting where you can see amazing displays of early Washington Territory and State history. Visitors will enjoy a variety of festival holiday activities, including hayrides through a town sparkling with over 100,000 holiday lights, craft-making for the kids at Santa’s workshop ($5/kid), followed by Western Washington’s only holiday fireworks display. Join us for caroling, a community tree lighting ceremony (Saturday @5:45pm) followed by the fireworks show provided by Halo Fireworks.
