Port Gamble Business Owner Hits the Road this May to Fight Childhood Hunger
Butcher & Baker Provisions owner Chef Adam Sawasy is currently training for a very important bike ride May 15th- 17th, 2018 starting in Santa Rosa, CA. Chef Sawasy is joining hundreds of chefs for the Chefs Cycle No Kid Hungry campaign which raised 2 million dollars last year. The organization is hoping to raise 2.4 million this year and has already raised nearly $100,000. Chef Adam is looking to personally raise $7500.
“I'm helping end childhood hunger in America by riding 300 miles in three days with Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry. For the past three years, Chefs Cycle has engaged culinary talents who want to push their physical limits while raising funds and awareness in support of No Kid Hungry” says Sawasy on his Rider Profile which can be found at http://bit.ly/2rdznhW. Every dollar donated means 10 meals provided for a child in need. Let’s all get behind Chef Sawasy in the fight for No Kid Hungry. Please join us in wishing Chef Adam GOOD LUCK!
