May in Port Gamble

All of us in Port Gamble are anxiously awaiting May 4th, 2020 to come up and see what the next steps are for Washington State in the fight against COVID19. We’re sure you are too! We hope everyone reading this is safe, well, and trying to enjoy the simple things in life now.

While most all of the businesses are closed except for Butcher & Baker Provisions and Galloping Gamble Espresso, we want to make sure that you know that many of the businesses have online shopping options so you can still support the local communities. Many small businesses in North Kitsap have online options to help get you (and them) get through these strange times. For a full list of shops, head to www.portgamble.com/shopping.

We are definitely missing all of the great visitors to the town and the shops so let’s have some fun here…If you are a fan of “Port Gamble, Washington” on Facebook, share your favorite photo, story , or what you miss most about Port Gamble right now on our timeline and be sure to tag “Port Gamble, Washington”.

Port Gamble is still planning for Muddy Paws July 10th-12th, the Maritime Music Festival on August 8th, Summer Faire on August 9th, the Port Gamble Ghost Conference November 6th-8th, and Country Christmas December 12th-13th, 2020. Many of the trail races in the coming months are still scheduled but may be postponed or cancelled.

We’ll hopefully be able to see you soon when it’s safe.
